A: This project started back in 2005 having just one simple quest - to provide an easy way of booking wine tours online. Not many things changed since then, we keep on finding and delivering you the best wine tours available around the world.


Q: How do I book a tour through this web-site?

A: Simply browse and select the tour you are interested in. You’ll find all the details there are to know about the tour in the description, pictures, along with the dates the tour is available or if there are any vacancies left, depending on the tour. You’ll also find out the tour duration, costs and other amenities like things included in the tour. Then click on BOOK NOW button to be redirected to secured page where you can pay for your tour. After this process is complete you’ll have to print a voucher which you will present later when attending the tour.


Q: What type of payments do you accept?

A: Currently we accept payments by credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express.


Q: How do you manage to offer tours for so many destinations around the globe? Are you a one global company?

A: We are in fact just a small agency, but we have agreements with various providers for wine tours around the globe. Our main partner supplying most of the tours is Australian based Viator. You can actually see who is the provider for each individual tour when viewing the description. In fact the tours are always provided by local travel agencies which are much more experienced and know everything there’s to know about their own region or country so they can help you in any matter you might have while attending the tour. We are just providing you with the easy way to find, select and book the tour with no hassle. When printing the voucher you’ll be given all the contact details for the particular local travel operator including their contact details and person in charge if there is any.

Q: Where’s the BookWineTour.com actually based and who operates it?

A: The BookWineTour.com project started by a wine enthusiast from a wine-loving country of Moldova. Today the project belongs to Sergius Enterprises Ltd. from Hong Kong but it is operated from various countries: people working on the project are located in various countries, our servers are located in Turkey, our administrative contact is in Hong Kong, so you may say it’s a global venture.

A: You will be most welcomed to do so. Please use this contact form and let us know more about your story, if interested we will publish it. Wine critics and authors can have special accounts open if willing to contribute on a regular basis. We are interested to hear your reviews on certain wineries you visited, your impressions on wines or stories from the wine festivals you attended. Also, description and stories from wineries itself are more then welcomed and will be published linking back to winery web-site.

A: No, we don’t practice link exchange, but we do have a comprehensive Wine Directory and if your project is wine related and we find it of great value we’ll include it for free. A link back to us would be much appreciated but not required.
